PRONUNCIATION RULES

The English alphabet has 30 letters.

English is pronounced as written.

a, i, u are pronounced as in Italian.

e, o is pronounced like the Italian word sole. Consonants



The c before a, o, u is pronounced like a k.

zero, city (zero, città)

The ch always has a palatal sound as in the Italian cibo.
